| Address Stamp -
For many people making
correspondence, an address stamp is often used for faster
and easier identification. Writing down one's address every
time letters have to be sent is definitely time-consuming.
However, with the use of address stamps, lots of time will
be saved, aside from the fact that these help letter-senders
create an identity uniquely their own.
Address stamps come in different types. One of the most
popular is the rubber stamps. Although called as such, this
type of address stamp is not really made of 100 percent
rubber. Only the main stamping portion is made from the said
material. The handle is usually fashioned out of wood, as is
the case with the other parts. This type of address stamp
usually comes with an ink pad for one to be able to make
impressions.
Address stamps of pre-ink types, meanwhile, undergo a unique
manufacturing process wherein the ink is incorporated in the
address stamp itself. The primary advantage of this type of
address stamp is that the use of an ink pad, which may be
messy, is no longer necessary.
Other types of address stamps are those having self-inking
features. They boast of having built-in pads and rubber
stamp dies that are inked in every unit. Just like its
pre-ink counterpart, the self-inking type of address stamp
eliminates the messy aspect of stamping addresses through
the use of ink pads. They are also known to last long,
producing hundreds of impressions.
Address stamps used to be exclusively utilized by
businessmen. Today however, even the average Joe makes use
of them, especially if he wishes to be easily remembered by
the people he sends correspondences to. |
